Affected by the epidemic in Guangzhou in May, the renovation process was forced to interrupt, and the preparation time for the new store had to be extended again and again, and now, DAaZ finally came to the city to officially meet everyone.

 A skyscraper is rising in this land, as the first metropolis in South China, Guangzhou does not have the arrogance and indifference of a big city. In the streets of Liwan, the Xiguan houses with Lingnan style are preserved, the old cavalry streets of Enning Road still carry the historical memory of this thousand-year-old commercial capital, and a familiar Cantonese hawking comes from the streets... There is an easy-going atmosphere of old Canton everywhere.

 

The city is a mix of tradition and modernity, urban atmosphere and urban modernity, giving it a low-key, inclusive and intimate temperament at its core.                                    

As the third brand flagship store of DAaZ, Guangzhou store is located on the third floor of Jishengweibang in Haizhu District, which is different from the uniform decoration and eye-catching promotion words of the stores, and the unique design of the facade is refreshing.

 Push open the wooden door, as if into a simple and quiet house, the nostalgic atmosphere comes. Even if outside the door is a savage steel forest, inside the house we can only feel the silence and tranquility...

In the nearly 500 square meters of display space gathered the full line of DAaZ and KOSA-VASTU products, including furniture, lighting, tableware, pottery, home textiles, carpets and many other categories.

From the first flagship store in Dongguan Houjie Expo Park, to Foshan Louvre, and even various franchised stores across the country, DAaZ has been evoking people's most primitive and universal memories and emotions through the expression of furniture and space, focusing on creating a warm and comfortable space for the body to relax and the mind to rest, rather than being limited to a certain style.

 

In terms of presentation, natural materials and elements with traces of time are used to form an overall unique atmosphere and comfortable feeling, without being formal or confined to style.

The walls are made of art paint and white cement with a slightly mottled surface, and the hand-scraped marks are deliberately preserved, with each texture conveying the rustic aesthetics of "imperfection".

Compared with the past, Guangzhou store not only uses curved and chamfered walls to break the traditional spatial pattern, but also uses the visual disparity between the height of the steps to subtly divide the space and make the overall presentation more layered. More new elements are incorporated, such as raw bamboo full of oriental aesthetic mood, old wooden beams hiding stories of time, old wooden doors, etc., adding sensual changes to the space.

A tall curved wall divides the KOSA-VASTU living area, where the design team has collected daily necessities from all over the world, including pottery from Chinese folk craftsmen, lamps made by local African natives, carpets designed and customized in India to match DAaZ furniture...

The wall and glass enclose the display area of the lamps, and the warm light through the natural fibers creates a soft and loving picture, which makes the eyes outside the door can't help but focus on it.
